IS JESS WILSON CUTTING YOUR LOCAL SCHOOL NEXT?

Every parent in Melton wants the best for their kids – and that means a great local public school.

But Liberal Leader Jess Wilson and Nationals Leader Danny O’Brien are planning cuts that will hit regional Victorian schools.

They’ve admitted they would limit investment in regional school infrastructure to just 25 per cent – a cut from Labor’s current investment that risks leaving regional schools behind.

Right now, more than 30 per cent of Labor’s investment in upgrading and modernising schools goes to regional and rural communities – including right here in Melton.

So what would Jess Wilson’s cuts mean for local schools?

Would it be:

  • Melton Secondary College?
  • Melton Specialist School?
  • Exford Primary School?

Families in Melton deserve answers.

When the Liberals were last in government, they cut $1 billion from education – and now they’re planning to cut again as part of a $40 billion reduction to the state budget.

Because you simply can’t cut $40 billion without cutting schools.

Victoria doesn’t need a return to Liberal cuts.

Students in Melton deserve access to modern classrooms, better facilities, and a world-class education at their local public school – and only Labor can be trusted to deliver that.
